i still wear mine on the other hand, its a gorgeous piece of jewellery and expensive, so why not! I have to saybthough my taste in jewellery means mine doesn't look like an engagement ring so its not that obvious. don't throw it. I had my first marriage engagement ring and eternity ring made into jewellery for my daugther as she was the product of that marriage. x never throw jewellery away. 💕

For those saying sell it, it’s really difficult to sell an engagement ring - cost price is less than half RRP so jewellers won’t touch it, and people feel funny about having a second hand engagement ring because they think it’s some sort of bad luck (divorce/death)

I am so proud of you- I was discarded 5 months ago after 6 years and have just started binning and selling things linked to him. I have an engagement ring that I was asked to pay half for, after he discarded me he has asked for his money back for it. Wish I had the balls to throw it in a river- maybe I will. Well done.
