Chinese artist Niu Yifei creates astonishingly lifelike images using whatever nature gives him: Twigs, leaves, bark, moss, stones, seeds and even soil. 😺 Working directly on the ground, he arranges these materials into detailed animals and portraits, often beginning with a simple outline before building up layers of natural textures. 😺 Born and raised in the mountains of Chongqing, Yifei studied animation and previously worked as a sand artist before discovering his distinctive form of plant collage.
