one of my students was almost 5 years old and had significant hand tremors. mom never noticed because the kid never sat still and avoided all fine motor tasks (the tremors made it incredibly hard). turns out he has a neurological disorder that he inherited from his bio dad and grandma that dad and grandma never even knew they had. suddenly a lot of family questions were answered and the child received the help and support he needs
