Yes they did. They just didn’t have enough evidence to convict him. That’s why it’s a cold case because she never got her justice not because he was never found he had also killed a girl at a park 7-9 miles away from her I did a project on her in 10th grade because I wanted to be a forensic scientist and always had a fascination with her case because it was a cold case and one of the most gruesome the man’s name was George Hodel and he was one of the only doctors in her town!

There was no cameras and barley anything that we have now they had to go based on witnesses. There's so many people who got away with murder back then and prob never even got investigated or was suspicious and that's rlly scary. U could rlly get away with anything back then
