I have had a debit lock on my account for fraud, but I could still walk into the bank and withdraw cash whike they sorted it out. Thats CRAZY that they kept your $!

if the feds block your account. you cant withdraw anything until the case is cleared and the bank is not allowed to notify you. it puts bank tellers in an impossible position.

PURE BS SAME THING HAPPEN TO MY SON. THEY LIED ABOUT THE FRAUD. 3 WEEKS LATER HE COULD USE HIS ACCOUNT. HE TOOK ALL OF IT OUT AND THEY TRIED TO STOP THAT.

Had this happen to me with Citi Bank, but it was working i did my usual stuff and then account was closed for fraud and they took the money, then held a direct deposit for 90 days and caused me issues with my bills

about 24 years ago I stopped banking with them. I sold my house and deposited with them because they were who I banked with at that time. I was moving and there was NO Wells Fargo where I was moving so I wanted to close out all my accounts and wanted CASH. They refused and used the FRAUD reasoning. The cops were called because I was upset, not loud, not disrespectful, just pissed. They ended up giving me ALL my money and to be petty, I wanted 20, 10, 5, and 1. Play with yo mammy, not my money

no, if your card doesn't work go to the bank in person. they trying to secretly fix something an employee did. they are the biggest crooks
