gcse maths is easier but as you progress through school you get better and more efficient at revising making AS feel easier i guess

I picked a level maths. in yr 12 rn and we're doing as level work rn. I got an 8 but didn't pick FM because I was predicted at a 7 and the entry requirement was an 8, so when I picked my subjects in November, I couldn't pick FM. genuinely so far I'm bored. I want more challenge

yes because the questions youre asked in as are very repetitive and require little to no problem solving if you’ve already seen the questions before in the textbook whereas gcse questions sometimes get creative. That being said theres obviously a content gap so someone who has just done gcse cant do as

its cause most guys that take maths at a level probably got a 7 or higher on their GCSEs. You’ve already seen GCSE content once, so there’s a lot of overlap. If you’ve taken further, that’s basically your AS content done 💔

its definitely harder if you compare the 2 specifications but since you have more maths experience it feels easier (ik as isn't that bad but if you showed it to someone in gcse they would be confused)
