They conflate critical thinking with common sense. Hindi nila nare-realize that what people call “common sense” is often based on intuition, assumptions, and what seems logical to them. Critical thinking is different. May structure ’yan. You identify the established facts, examine your premises, determine whether they actually support the conclusion, and test the argument for inconsistencies.Paano pa kaya kung i-explain mo sa kanila ang syllogism? Baka finish na. 😂 If someone has already decided on the conclusion before examining the premises, you’re no longer debating the argument. You’re debating their commitment to the conclusion.

it is true some are just poor when it comes to comprehension but it is not a matter of comprehension anymore. some people are just lazy, easy to manipulate, bias and band wagon. some people are so obsessed to their own leanings to the point they stop asking questions. you are right critical thinking is gone now and those who are capable are using it for their own benefits. best example is this impeachment, i dont care if sara gets impeach but its disgusting to see how it is more of a political process than legal. legality now is just a front since they can bend anything.

It says "senators shall be on oath". Di nakapag oath si Bato kaya 23 nalang. And they can argue na "Sitting for that purpose" means being physically present and actively participating in a specific official proceeding or duty.
