enha members also mentioned this before. they said that before the show started, that was one of the rules, they weren't allowed to interact with other trainees. It doesn't mean they weren't allowed to get close once they were already inside iland. this prevent them to form alliance because of the voting system. but ofc, some of them broke it and even travel abroad tgt. also based on what K said, they broke it.

i remember daniel said to EJ in an episode that he will be ok since EJ is there with him. but Ej was too quiet to no response (that i don't understand if he was just too nervous that time or what) that time i really thought daniel and EJ are the close one. k&taki is very obvious that they are friends eversince. then there's jay&sunghoon.

At first had a feeling it was because of the voting (when they had to vote each other out for elimination) since it can be biased. But it still doesn't make sense why they wouldn't allow them to talk to each other considering the fact that some of the trainees during the show, openly said that they already knew each other...including taki & ni-ki, and heeseung & jay. Also, they said that the trainees can't show signs of friendship but majority of them literally walked in together??😭 (meaning they were already close) which makes it more confusing.

i-land was the first survival show i've watched and it was so traumatizing for me. it hurts to even think about how worse it was for the trainees themselves, they were just kids back then 🥹

Yeah, that damn survival show traumatized me especially with what happened to K being evil edited so much the entire time he was there. He was the center of hate and even until now he was still getting dragged for it. 💔 that’s why I am very protective of &Team.

It was traumatizing enough for me as a viewer, imagine them as the trainees being there. The fact that there's so much we don't know and maybe we will never know not if they say it themselves 💔

Enhypen have talked about it before and i think he meant at the start. They were meant to pretend when they first walked in, that first episode, that they didn’t know each other, but a lot of them had already met. Of course they were allowed to talk and form friendships in the actual show. And they did obviously, we all saw it.
