That’s true, but if you’re going to ask me which one I prefer, looks or personality, without a doubt, I’ll choose looks. In a world where almost everyone prefers to love someone for their personality, I’ll choose looks. Why? Because looks can’t be changed that much. Even years from now, they’ll still look the same. Maybe they’ll look more mature or a little different with age, but it won’t change so drastically. A person’s personality, however, changes over time, either for the better or for the worse, and somehow, that scares me. To love the person they show you in the beginning, only for them to eventually change into someone else for their own convenience. I know people change, but somehow, remembering the way they acted in the beginning compared to how they act now hurts. It hurts to realize how drastically someone can change. I know it's petty, but it is what it is.
