People in the comment section don’t realize that a gallon is a measurement of VOLUME not mass just because a gallon of milk is heavier than a gallon gas does not mean their volume is different if they are both a gallon sized container.

To be fair, a lot of gasoline is lost because of vapor loss. I’m not saying half a gallon is lost, but I imagine some of it isn’t pumped up and some of it could be pumped up as a vapor which does not end up in the milk during the test

Not true at all bro. I race dirtbikes and I have to get 5 gallons exactly so my oil will be the right ratio. If it’s the wrong ratio my bike would blow up.
