Same thing Same thing happened to me too 😩 I had to literally scream when I saw what they were doing. I went to grind elubo, and this woman also told me I should blend alum with it so it would draw. Can you imagine? 😳 What shocked me even more was when I saw some people grinding dry pepper and hiding kùfù àgbàdo inside it. That part left me completely speechless! After removing the corn from the cob, that dry fibrous part that we normally throw away… they were putting it inside the pepper they were grinding. 😭 Honestly, what exactly are we eating in this country? It is frightening. People really need to start processing more of what they consume themselves, especially things like pepper, yam flour and other powdered foods, instead of blindly buying already blended ones from the market. The things happening behind the scenes are honestly crazy. May Allah help us and protect what we eat. 🙏🏽
