We saw thundercat and it genuinely was like a dude slamming on a keyboard and a dude absolutely shredding it on the drums (very good drummer) but it felt like everyone was fighting to be in a solo at once - even the popular songs. And then the strokes came on and Julian said “wow they’re musical geniuses” weird vibes

Lmfao whole point of Greep is the experimental part of it. He’s weird and eccentric, and I think the stroke fans clashed with that and just didn’t get it lol. Plus, his songs are like 5-7 minutes long and he only had a 45 min window, so it was sped up a bit. He makes realllyy good music and his band mates are incredible but it’s not for everyone and that’s okay.
