You need to go to Home Depot and ask for the black caulk. They usually don’t keep it out. It’s in a thick tube.

Never caulk around the toilet!! It’s not smart, if the wax ring leaks you won’t know. Until it leaks under the floor! You’ll never see a plumber do that. I’ve remodeled homes for many years. We need to know if the wax ring leaks or the flange
