My mom does a sausage breakfast casserole every year since I was probably 2 years old and it’s the thing I look forward to the most. Sometimes we’ll make during the rest of the year when we need a pick me up after having a rough time

Damn yalls family eats on Christmas besides just dinner?? My family we wake up, kids get hot coco, adults get coffee with a lil Carol Anne’s or baileys and we get to presents, then dinner gets started pretty much immediately after that and we snack throughout the day so we can actually eat dinner

We all lived close by growing up so would gather at nanas around 5-6 am Xmas morning she had eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and waffles with an amazing strawberry glaze and whip cream. We live away now so I make my kids this as well. Because I used to love it. Stockings breakfast then gifts.

I have an idea for a dessert that I am probably going to try out; it is going to be an apple crumble with many cinnamon rolls around the edge, and before it finishes baking, I am going to drizzle maple syrup down the crevices so it caramelizes.
