wouldn't the logical way is to take out all the money in OA and do a VHR with it. then loops this cycle until the Housing and Accurred Interest is 0. Assuming FRS had been met in the first place and all VHR goes back to OA. At least next time u sell house can get all cash 😁

Can you be realistic. If Mr Ong have 200k in OA, where and how can he get 300k in cash unless he won a lottery?

Why not i just withdraw my entire OA at 55 years old and put it into a conservative 4% dividend fund or stock to enjoy my 4% per year drawdown? 4% of my 200k is $8000/year

yes, this is a good way to earn higher fixed income but my main concern is risk of policy change. What if government change policy and limit withdrawal age limit or amount.

One very impt point, if u sell your flat, the VHR amount will be split with the 2nd owner (usually spouse) and not return to the one who contributed the refund only.

You must mention provided that Mr Ong has met the FRS requirements at 55, if not the sum you put back to CPF is going to RA not OA. 🤣🤣🤣

So if i don't hit FRS at 55 an dhas pledge my fully paid property, if I put back money inside using VHR, it will goes to RA automatically and not OA?

You must mention Mr Ong meet RA FRS at 55. Then whatever balance or VHR to OA is withdrawable.

Can do multiple VHRs, or must it be the full lump sum one-time transaction?
