I laughed as SOON as he said it, fully expecting to hear it. I know drones have changed things, but when you’ve experienced overlapping fields of direct fire, mortars and rockets. It almost doesn’t matter what the delivery mechanism is anymore. You just find funny shit any chance you get. I try and imagine what it was like in the Argonne, when over 45 days over 8 million artillery shells alone were fired. Trees exploding all around you. No matter how shit it gets, it all stinks.
