@tkmm27: 場所は名古屋市 私もちょい輩なんで後ろから声を掛けたが反応ナシ、左折して足組みながら走り去って行きました 因みに自賠責ステッカーも無い

There’s something wonderfully strange about stepping into NPR’s Tiny Desk with Saving Grace. No enormous stage, no wall of amplifiers, no distance between the musicians and the people listening just a small room, a handful of instruments, and the songs. I looked around at the sparse setup and couldn’t resist a little grin: “This is just like Live Aid… I couldn’t hear myself there either.” But perhaps that is exactly the point. The years have changed the voice, as they change everything. What once came roaring from the stage with youthful fire now carries something deeper the marks of roads travelled, places visited, friendships made and lost, and countless songs discovered along the way. With Saving Grace, I continue to follow that thread through folk traditions, gospel, roots music and the old songs that somehow keep finding their way back to us. There is a particular magic in stripping everything down and allowing the music to breathe. Together, we shared “Gospel Plough,” Martha Scanlan’s beautiful “Higher Rock,” Low’s haunting “Everybody’s Song,” the tender “It’s a Beautiful Day Today,” and finally “Gallows Pole” a song I first encountered and reshaped with Led Zeppelin many years ago, now returning to it from an entirely different place in life. And none of this would be possible without the remarkable musicians beside me: Suzi Dian — vocals, accordion Matt Worley — guitar, banjo, cuatro, background vocals Tony Kelsey — guitar Barney Morse-Brown — cello Oli Jefferson — drums Tiny rooms have a way of revealing the truth. No spectacle. No hiding place. Just the musicians, the instruments and the songs. And perhaps that is where music is most alive. The journey continues.#robertplant #LedZeppelin #RobertPlant #StairwayToHeaven #music
