Jesus could care less about your finances. The Apostles let everything go, they followed him and lost everything, they even died horribly and poor. The difference is, when we die, that's when we become rich in Christ and we will receive our reward. That bad person who was rich, he dies and loses everything and gains nothing. While you will end up sharing in his glory in heaven.

I'm not rich but I am successful I don't struggle financially and I more than capable of doing basically anything that I want. but it's utterly amazing to me that people believe that they deserve my success or my results but in no way shape or form want to put in my level of dedication my 120 hours a week for 15 years. sleepless nights many many sleepless nights. I was raised in poverty went to church every Sunday as a kid and still in God-fearing man and love our Lord and savior but I don't believe God only loves me if I'm staying in poverty no more than he would love me if I was rich.

Evil or unsaved people (whether they know it or not) serve their master faithfully and he rewards them (whom he choses) for doing so. You and I are called to (Matthew 6:33, Jesus said) seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, everything else will be added to us (that might also include financial gain, He decides), and even then we will always have troubles but stay faithful to Him. Our heart has to be in the right place, seeking to do His will always If we Love Him, follow His commands ~ John 14:15
