@lilmissscubaa: Having trouble getting down at the start of your dive? 👀 One of the most common beginner mistakes I see is kicking while trying to descend. If you’re finning upwards while simultaneously trying to deflate your BCD, you’re basically fighting against yourself! I also watch my computer as I descend. Because of the optical illusion underwater I always thought I wasn’t descending and then would start flailing around and using up a ton of air. Now after deflating BCD I watch my computer to stop that illusion and it’s saved me a TON of air for the actual dive.
