@kiyoshibotanicals: EC on-the-go can feel really intimidating until you just try it! When I started EC with my son, I thought we’d mostly do it at home. Then one day we took our cloth nappies & potty out with us, way overpacked extra nappies, and guess what? Everything was fine 😂 Now with my newborn, bringing the potty along is just what we do. And I honestly find EC easier when we’re out than when we’re at home because when we’re out, there are so many natural transition points to offer the potty: right before leaving, getting somewhere, before getting back in the carrier, arriving home, etc. At home, life is just happening, and I find I have more misses because I’m relying more on tuning into her cues while simultaneously doing all the other things. So if EC on the go feels intimidating, just give it a try. You don’t need to have a perfect system or bring your entire house with you 😂 Start small, bring a few backup supplies, and you might find it’s actually much easier than you expected.
