The Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway in Jim Thorpe will run 45-minute Autumn Leaf Rides from September 26 through November 15. And yes, your dog can come along! ๐Ÿพ โ€ผ๏ธNew this year: Autumn Leaf Season tickets can now be purchased online or via telephone for any trips departing up to and including 3pm. (You will still need to stop by and pick up your actual ticket from the ticket window before departure) Dogs are permitted on any 45, 70, or 80 minute train excursion. I always opt for the open-air car so Frek can stick his head out (and smell everything ๐Ÿ˜‚). ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Open-air car prices: โ€ข Adults: $28 โ€ข Children ages 3-12: $10 โ€ข Children 2 and under: FREE โ€ข Well-behaved dogs: FREE! I'm sure you had so much joy in your heart to be able to take your best friend with you. I wish it was closer to us (2 1/2 hrs. away). I would take my grandpuppy, Oakley. She loves to stick her head out of the car window. Thank you for this info. If I could find a pet friendly hotel near by for a two day trip, maybe that would work! Love this โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ•

Oh hell no! We got there at 10am and couldnโ€™t get on a train until 2pm! Itโ€™s super crowded and you only get views from one side of the train. The other side faces rocks!!!! But the town has a nice witch store.
