Comments like that about “not dwelling” are so harmful. I have always felt like Ive been “grieving wrong” because I struggle a lot to find joy. Others telling me Im doing it wrong instead of just being there makes it worse. I was in a really really dark place after losing my mom, people saying find the joy or life moves on made it harder for me to just survive.
