I live next door to a boutique heated Pilates studio, and they have huge locker rooms, showers, free towels that aren’t scratchy, hair ties, blow dryers, shampoo, deodorant, I mean, I could go on and on. No offense to [solidcore], because I love them, but I just don’t know how they’re going to compete with smaller boutique studios that offer so much more amenity wise. A lot of people already take [solidcore] classes on their lunch breaks or between other things they have going on. After a heated, high intensity class, you’re going to be a disgusting, sweaty mess. 😭 There’s no way most people can just throw their clothes back on and go straight to work. If they really want these heated classes to be successful, I feel like they’re going to have to start adding showers or significantly upgrading the amenities at those locations.
