He thinks the blades rot in like 8 years, and since they are made of mostly fiberglass, you can't just bury the blades. most large scale construction debris like that would normally go to a landfill, or be reused in other products. some fiberglass is being ground and reused in concrete products now. either way, you would just knock the blade off and bury it right there at the base. additionally, even if you took the blade to a landfill once every 20 years, ( a typical lifetime), I would say that is less pollution trouble/problems/leaks than pumping and transporting oil for 20 years. also it's all about the $, and he has stock and buddies that make $ off oil, so have to be against anything that isn't it.
