this was me in high school, worked on it and now i got bunch of friends, what i can recommend is going to every event and function "can you go-" yes. "are you gonna go to the party-" yes. if its a function containing alcohol and you dont wanna spend money/dont drink just go, noone will force you to spend money or drink

Honestly, that is fine; I realized groups even in university are full of drama and always have things going on, which I am not always up to deal with. I spend most of my time with my boyfriend or a few acquaintances I made at university, just university-related things and maybe a hangout once in a while. I focus on studying, as friends come and go from what I have seen.

I think that, yes it is good and healthy having friends at university, but we have to remind that it's our path and our dream and we should have as aim just reaching ti, it our own life and with or without uni friend it doesn't have to be that hard
