I work private, and the best thing I’ve ever done is throw a skein of paracord and a ratchet strap in my backpack. Tie that shit to something metal and you’re done 😭

One time I couldn’t get one of the back doors open. Stretcher was outside the truck. We had to take the mattress off the stretcher and slide it in sideways and drive back to base with it just flopping all over. It was also of course way past end of shift.
