Algebra is used in school and its importance is not being able to use it. It is used to train the brain to think logically. Algebra is a basic function of the brain. Think logically, follow logical steps and improve problem solving skills. It not about the algebra. Its about creating new synapses in the brain.

After 8th grade it's basically just to make people used to being somewhere they don't want to be doing pointless tasks for 8 hours. A diploma is nothing more than proof that you can do it with at least a minimal task execution.

Told our kids its useless and they will never use it. They are 17 and 16 both graduated highschool and algebra was a requirement along with calculus and yet both run departments in the grocery store ordering goods,doing shrink, inventory and doing book work and neither has used algebra😂

Are we not required by law? I pay more for insurances... across the board, than any other expense. U can go to jail for not having insurance on your car, kids, etc cetera.
