what about if you get prescribed such high dosages that they give you a list of other highly addictive medication to counteract some of the disadventages, creating a human thats dull and numb to anything and everything, feels happy cause of syntethic happyness hormones yet incredibly sad cause of life, unabled to talk with anyone about it as people will judge you by what they see and what they see is medication that works. You can't work on the problems yourself cause you are a kid looking for guidance. Everybody tells you to be yourself yet you can't be yourself cause of the medication and even if it works people drop you like a brick. You get these medications in the crucial years of childhood where you as a human should learn how to deal with emotions and with others. but the medication numbs you so much you don't even realise that emotions or empathy exists.

It doesn’t increase the amount of dopamine and noradrenaline, it reduces the reuptake of these neurotransmitters allowing more efficient use of them at lower amounts.
