My gf of 2.5 years just broke it off with me. There was someone else. I was just packing up and uprooting my life to move from Chicago to California. Sure, it’s devastating. But mostly, I have no plan. I’m a better man when I’m working for someone else besides just me. I’m uninspired and the idea of 2 incomes is gone. Things are precarious, for sure 💔😔

I’m 52 and wished I could make $4k a month. I’ve been homeless for the last 3 years. I took a job for the past three weeks selling cars and got let go on Friday. I worked 70 hours per week and have no idea how I’ll make rent or eat. For me it’s already over

I’m 44, an hvac foreman at $32/hour and *just* making it by. The important thing is not to blame yourself. It’s that this economy became something meant for two people to pay into together. Singles are feeling the pain for sure. I’m doing DoorDash few days after work or on Saturdays just to keep up.
