Today on the 13th/09/2026 at around 0900c information was received that a male adult in civilian had shot him self dead right at the entrance of Freedom City shopping mall. Asp kyeyune Micheal OC namasuba police station booked out on information vide sd ref .04/13/09/2026 It is alleged that the suspect came carrying his fire arm No.UG POL 5665021777/57607 AK 47 , attacked and shot his wife identified as Nankunda Florence and later shot himself through the neck. The suspects died on spot and the victim one Nankunda Florence....was rushed to Dr clinic hospital seguku hospital for medical attention. The weapon used was recovered having 16 rounds of Ammunition and exhibited. According to the victim Natukunda Florence was once in love with the suspect (deceased) and left him and got Married to kimera Brian( 0704175413) OBSERVATIONS -The suspect is apolice officer identified as No 82811 ppc Aijuka saul attached to mbarara CPS police under FFU. -Exhibits of 3 ( three) cartridges and one live bullet afire arm with 16 rounds, cream bag suspected to have been used to transport the weapon were recovered at the scene. -The deceased body was found lying in a pool of blood, dressed in casual clothes with a suspected bullet wound at at his head ( forehead) PENDING TASKS -Obtaining medical reports for both the deceased and the victim -Establishing the motive/Cause of the tragedy.
