@youarelovedwithin: What position are we supposed to sleep in when every position feels wrong?! 😭 Side sleeping is out, rolling over feels like a dangerous sport… If you’ve figured out a pillow setup, sleeping position, recliner trick, or some kind of nighttime sorcery that actually helps, PLEASE share. I need to know how everyone is surviving the night! 🛏️🫠 #R#RotatorCuffTearshoulderpain #shoulderpainrelief
It’s 1 o’clock in the morning and I’m still not asleep. I have an adjustable bed in the master bedroom that I can’t sleep on because the bed is too squishy so I’m in the extra bedroom, bedroom divorce from my husband for the past six months. I have the biggest Squishmallow pickle pillow I call him big dill, too smaller Squishmallows, a pig named Peter and a chicken named Henry on my back. I sleep on my right side because my left shoulder has a demon in it. I also have a Winnie the Pooh very tiny squishy that I’ve been under my neck along with three regular pillows scattered throughout the bed. I’m about to do my ABC exercise and try to sleep. If you don’t know what that is. Look abc shoulder exercise. It really does help. Ice ice baby all the time. I did get one of those steroid injections in my shoulder and it just about killed me for a day and then it helped for a little while l, but right back in pain. I do have a small tear but the doctor reassure me that my pain is coming from frozen shoulder. I just love being old and menopausal. So much fun😣

Frozen shoulder here….I avoided sleeping on the frozen shoulder. One might i was in so much that I rolled on the frozen shoulder, and found relief. Strange. The pressure of sleeping on the frozen side made it feel 90% better.

2 months tomorrow since surgery. I have an adjustable bed. So I use fairly flat pillow under head. If anything at all gets uneven behind shoulder or arm I immediately wake up

I had the exact same thing. I have a small pillow that I placed to my chest and the shoulder would rest on it. I could finally sleep. I had this surgery years ago and I still can’t sleep without my pillow! lol

try doing pendulum swings of ur affected arm. Let it dangle & make as wide a circle u can for approximately 30 seconds. Then go in the opposite direction making as wide a circle as u can tolerate for 30 sec. It helps me a lot. It helps my range of motion

Extra pillow for my arm to rest on, and I sleep on my side. Brings back memories of being pregnant because it takes so long to get comfortable.. lol

I’ve been having shoulder, bicep, delt pain since July. Cortizone shot did not help, then they put me on a six pack of steroid did not help, I’ve been to the Chiropractor does not help. I am now trying dry needling. I just figure I’m never gonna sleep again living in hell.

5 pillows: 2 king on my sides 2 for my head 1 for my arm
I make a nest and kind of "hang" my shoulder so It doesn't touch the mattress because I tried sleeping on my back and couldn't

I have been sleeping on my couch for months. Reclined. I really miss my bed, I do manage to get a few hours this way though.
