Bob is “love bombing” you basically 😶🌫️. Yes big company gives u the big ultimatum but bob betrayed them. He could easily betray you as well. The company shows loyalty. Bob basilica stole from them and he can steal from u as well. That’s my advice go with the big company. It’s a small lose now you never know how much of a big loss u can have with bob in the future.

If Bob can do this to his family, he can do it to you. It’s all about values and loyalty and how it translates into business. The big factory made a mistake which was the only reason you went to Bob. If the big factory is losing clients, they will now be more focused on building yours. Take advantage of the panic because they don’t want to lose money. If you choose to stay with them, please make sure you have an NNN agreement signed with the big factory so you can walk away anytime without liabilities. Also make a contract where they should compensate you for damages. Give it 6 months to see how work continues with the big factory. If things look off in 3 months, start sourcing elsewhere. Sorry that you’re going through this. You’ll come out of this stronger 🩷🩷

I'd choose the person that never made you choose a side in the first place. you've no proof hes been stealing clients- you went direct to him, whats not to say others have done the same for the same reasons? ✨

:/ seems like the staying with the big established company is the way to go. Im sure you can figure out the materials and quality with them, knowing u worked with them before and have previously made pieces you were happy with. You cant trust a man like Bob if hes wronged others, you never know if hes gonna shut you out take money from u next 🤷♀️🤷♀️

I think it’s best to express the big guy as “bob does these things that makes me want to work with him and I want to make sure that you can provide those benefits + give me consistent good quality.” I think working with the factory you are working right now is established and run a professional business but Bob seems like he just started his own company. Therefore, the big company has a lot of experience and might be better for you in the longer run. Regardless, you got this queen trust your own judgement 🩷🌟

if they said bob is lying to their clients and they accused bob of stealing they could be projecting/lying and just proved it. did he ever bad mouth them? I would explain to bob you are going to work with him on the qt and say to the factory you are no longer working with bob. if bob proves to be a better supplier I would calculate the best time to move all your business to him. I don't like the pressure and ultimatum the big factory has set you.

If you mention you've invested thousands with Bob for a specific product...perhaps they would allow him to complete the one product and keep all your other work with them. if they say no, stick with the big supplier....

China is all about relationships. If you go back to the big factory you make sure they prioritize you and you come with conditions & ask for rebates since you invested with him.

You should consult with a lawyer, and have some type of contract that will ensure you dont have too much loss if things go south with either of them. But also you should put feelings aside and loyalty is important, but people put their own selves first at the end of the day. This looks bit like some family feud and drama-like.. also trust your intuition.

Trust your gut. It’s China, There are a lot of big factories. And it doesn’t sound right that this leopardprint material is such a challenge for them. It’s a common print. Maybe work w/ the big one, but find a 2nd one for printed knits

I would ask big boss and Bob separately exactly what happened, then go from there. I will say though it sounds like Bob is love bombing you, offering you all these added “luxuries” like office with aircon etc. BUT big boss is saying you can’t work with Bob so you’re gonna lose money, I would offer big boss an ultimatum - that you will leave Bob BUT you need XYZ done (whatever that looks like for you) with your new baddie suits!
