As you said, one follows Allah, Rasulullah ﷺ, and those who are in authority. But are royal families and democratically elected leaders really considered an authority for a Muslim?

God forbid someone criticises a ruler for openly aiding in the destruction of Muslims, allying with the disbelievers, and abandoning the book of Allah. Rebellion is a separate matter. The Salaf openly criticised their rulers, they criticised Al-Hajjaj calling him a khariji, haruri, kafir, etc. They openly criticised Khalid al-Qasri for demolishing masajid, building a church for his mother, and other acts. Ahmad criticised his rulers and approved of others criticising them, and the examples are many. So, instead of blindly following your scholars and assuming what they’re upon is the correct understanding of the speech of the salaf you should actually read the works of the salaf.

how do you dare to say that the prophet would not rebell about rulers, that are oppressing thousands of people and are educating ,,shuyukh“ to legitmite their kufr through scholars. Abu hanifa went in prison because he criticized the rule so did imam malik, shafi and imam hanbal against al mamun. In Saudi more then 1000 scholars are in prison who criticised the kufr rulers, look up sheikh saleh al talib, the former kaaba imam. They gained power by betraying the ottoman caliphate and joining the british imperialist against the caliphate and islam. This is islam? May allah guide you and erase the blindness in your eyes.
