@tessaxlarson: Notes & Resources 👇 1. Pay off or move your high interest CC debt. Utilize a Personal loan to get a lower interest rate to help pay off your debt faster and save money! Resource for Personal loans linked at the top of my page. 2. Put your savings in a more productive place. Regular banks have a 0.01% interest yield (paid to YOU), whereas, High Yield Savings Accounts typically have much higher interest yield (which means more free money). Aim for a HYSA that has a 3.0% or better. I have a list of good banks at the top of my page 🏦 3. Open a Roth IRA and contribute as much as you can until you max it out for the year. Make sure you are also investing that money in your Roth IRA and not leaving it just sitting in there uninvested. I personally invest mine in a low cost index fund that has good predictable projected returns (don’t let this part freak you out it’s much simpler then in sounds). This account is to set your future self up for success when you retire! A few good options where you can open this account on is; Sofi, Fidelity, vanguard, or Charles Schwab. As always, let’s be action takers not procrastinators! We got this! #financialliteracy #financialfreedom #financetok #generationalwealth
