@theadventurecrews: This might be the strangest skill we’ve learned in Florida. 😂 Deep in the Apalachicola National Forest, we learned how to “grunt” earthworms out of the ground. Rubbing a piece of metal across a wooden stake creates vibrations underground, causing the worms to crawl to the surface. It’s an old Florida tradition that was once used by local bait harvesters, and we honestly weren’t convinced it would work until worms started appearing everywhere.
