The Ritz Paris. Amex points now transfer to Leading Hotels of the World, the collection the Ritz Paris belongs to. Its loyalty program is called Leaders Club, and the partnership went live July 28. Here's exactly how it works. Membership Rewards transfer to Leaders Club at 4:1. One thousand Amex points become 250 Leaders Club points. Transfers move in 1,000-point increments and can take up to 72 hours to land. There's no award chart. Pricing floats with the cash rate of the room. The night I pulled up: ✅ $3,622.68 cash, taxes and fees included ✅ 44,928 Leaders Club points ✅ 180,000 Amex points after the 4:1 transfer, rounded to the 1,000-point increment ✅ Base cpp: 8.06 | Amex cpp: 2.01 That is a real balance, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. This is a redemption for someone sitting on a large Membership Rewards stash looking for a trip worth spending it on. But two cents per point on a hotel is excellent. Hotel transfers are usually where transferable points lose the most value, and this one clears two cents at a property of this caliber. Amex also gives you the best access: Chase has no Leaders Club partnership, and Citi transfers at 5:1, or 1.61 cents per point. Pull up the Ritz Paris on the Leading Hotels of the World site and price your exact dates in points first. Transfers are one way, so confirm the award is bookable before you move anything.
