Omg my fyp needed me to see this today. I'm at 1 month and I don't feel like I'm walking in the same world as everyone else.

It’s a very hard thing to say out loud sometimes “I’m a better person because _______ died” some people just don’t have the capacity to relate or acknowledge it.

My mom was caged by mental illness my whole life. She died of her illness and her choices. Now, 31 years after her passing, I have more of a relationship with her spirit than I ever did when she was living. I KNOW she wants me to live and be happy. I also know in some way I will see her again, whole and well when I cross the veil. Grief is a profound teacher. It truly makes you a more compassionate and empathetic human.

I miss my Dad every day. He's been gone for 7 years now. But once my Dad passed, I was able to get sober and I've lost 170lbs... I still struggle, but I know my Dad passing made me a better person

I actually wrote a letter to all three of my kids (currently 5,12,17) telling them this!! so when I pass they'll read it. they're in the first pages of my journal by my bed!! one letter for each one telling them this in different ways. I want them to be happy it would break my heart knowing they stop living bc I'm gone. this journal is filled with letters to them individually. I have another personal journal for my private thoughts but this is for them. but the first 3 letter is this exact message!!

My Mom passed away the other day. We were close, but I feel like I failed her. The guilt. Then I see this and I realize she would not want me to feel guilty. She would want me to carry on her legacy. Thank you.

My mom would always tell me “you go represent me because I can’t be there” and I live by that everyday.❤️

I listened to this today walking on a pristine Maine beach. I was thinking about my mom who passed and your story about the orange on your birthday skiing. I was like hmm I don't even know what I would ask to see... A little while later, I just happened to see this orange peel hanging out on the beach. 😮🥰💙 Absolutely LOVED this conversation.

I lost my mom when I was 11yrs. old. Same exact experience. We were not close when she was alive and now I feel like I’m finishing her life. I also talk to her everyday. 🙏🏻❤️
