@jcdebunking: @Loveagainjen learning about religions from an outside perspective is good but coming to this conclusion is wild #religion #conspiracytheory #debunked #greekmythology #biblestories

Are you religious yourself jacob?

BloodySymphony :

hate people equating the underworld to Hell 😭

The Boss :

in a more historical sense, Christianity being the youngest religion, borrows many of it's stories from other religions which is why greek/Roman gods appear in older scriptures. but the way she compares them here is so blatantly disanalagous that it makes no sense

Skibidi Scott ❌ :

They all can’t be right. They can all be wrong though. 🤔

louiepostsstuff :

as a hellenic polytheist, Hades is NOT a sinner - he didnt even go against his father ZEUS did. because Kronos ATE HIS CHILDREN (all except Zeus). Hades just runs the underworld, where ALL the dead go. thats like saying Ham went against Noah and went to hell after Noah ATE him. not to mention how Kronos has more than 3 sons and just more than 3 kids in general.

Jon94077 :

theist religions are all the same, most religions believe in a higher power. Buddhism is a life philosophy, a way to act.

luz the night owl 💜 :

oh also the three actual all share the story of a great flood Killing all but 1 family

🦢 :

as soon as she said hades was sent to “hell”………

user235977 :

Also not that it really matters but of Pluto, Saturn, and Neptune, we’d only discovered Saturn at that point. The Greeks and Romans called them wandering stars since we didn’t have telescopes yet and couldn’t tell they were even planets. It’s why they called Venus both the Evening Star and the Morning Star

Charlie Watson the Third :

Hades is a glorified accountant who I named my dog after

James :

Most Religions are not even remotely similar not even pagans

Mikey :

I’m going to be annoying, but cronos was immortal he couldn’t die so he was cut into pieces and put in Tartarus

AmazingSpiderShan :

I appreciate the ammendment that arrested development wasn't one of the mid shows

Shiloh (jay) :

I need to rewatch castlevania I haven’t seen it in years

Athena 🏳️‍⚧️🇲🇽 :

Oh I thought she was talking about it in their function lmao

leon :

just wanted to point out that the chart of the biblical family tree is from Useful Charts. great educational and informative content. love them

ada :

when she mentioned noah i thought it'd be about all the flood stories. they're RIGHT THERE

luz the night owl 💜 :

chronos was not dead tho he was taken out

Delinquent :

crazy thing is her main point is right religions do have similar stories but she totally fumbled the entire thing 😅

Blitzø🏳️‍🌈 ☭ :

meaningless :

she compares two religions that emerged in literally the same corner of the Mediterranean 🙈 and they are not even remotely similar, with one of them brutally wiping out the other in a bloody genocide and cultural annihilation

Brendan Mathews418 :

You see Jock Ewing had three sons, Bobby in Heaven, JR in Hell and Gary who was in the in-between (Knots Landing)
