depending on the state probably wont count as self defense because he went in the home to get the gun then came back out after and shot the guy right away which he wasnt going towards him anymore he walked away before he got out the door then stood still with his phone out so gramps will probably go to jail for murder even that a murder charge barely even gets you time in jail anymore
