This is just my approach, but what he’s touching on is extremely important. People need to throw the 4% out the window. Do you know why your financial advisor wants you to just pull out 4%? It’s because it makes them more money!!! the more you draw out the less they earn. So of course they don’t want you spending all that money. Obviously don’t be reckless, but spend for the lifestyle you want within reason depending on what you have and enjoy your life, enjoy the money that you’ve earned

Sounds backwards to me, why not take a higher % up front when you are younger healthier and able to enjoy more and scale back as you get older? 60-70 are go go years, 70-80 slow go, 80-90 no go. You need less $ as you get older.
