That Verizon simplicity is the most bang for buck. All other companies like Mint and Usa Mobile are resellers that have terrible security. if you care about photo id and safeguarding your number get a real carrier, now hella affordable and with all premium features

ATT Rep here, that plan yes only focusing on the hotspot does have 250 gb of hotspot. That’s not our selling point. It has international built into it so you don’t have to pay a daily rate when your out of the country, $12 a day for 10 days within a billing cycle. Each person using it same day is an additions $6 per day so it gets costly. I tell most people if your already on one of the newer plans that you can switch to Elite 2.0 while out of the country, then when your back, go back to your regular plan. You can change your plans anytime. If you don’t travel internationally no one is going to recommend this plan to you. So no I don’t think it’s a bad plan, is it expensive yes.

verizon rep here and I actually fully agree with your criticism on ultimate, the only reason I would even THINK about putting someone on that plan is for international travel, otherwise it just doesn't make sense. Not to mention there used to be an old version of it (now called Unlimited Ultimate 1.0) that was exactly the same but $5 cheaper and didnt include "Verizon Family Plus" which is just glorified Life 360. I hate corporations. (still not as bad as AT&T tho lol)

The AT&T includes a watch line and a tablet line for that cost. If you don’t need the data line then you can do their premium plan instead.

Except the big thing with AT&T Unlimited Elite 2.0 isn’t the hotspot it’s that you also get a free tablet and watch line with that $110. Tablet equals $20/month and watch equals $10/month normally.

unlimited Ultimate only caters toward one type of person, it offers free international calls. those calls can rack up so it could be worth it.

It’s not so much a company, but rather a type of plan that is simply archaic. If you’re paying over $80 for a single person, might want to check out some other options as these services are some of the only ones in America that charge you MORE the longer you’re with them. At the very least, call and ask for retention and say you’ll switch unless you can get intro rates again.
