Watch out for AirDrop. Turn off Bluetooth when possible. Watch out for AirDrop trusted contacts. Watch out for contact cards being shared for FaceTime and iMessage exploits for the camera. Turn on Lockdown Mode, just to make it difficult. Monitor privacy settings like access to camera, location services, microphone, etc. Check for fake software updates that are definitely out of date

i have had this problem since 2017. i know my ex knew everything there is to do with computers and all that Microsoft,C++ windows HTML stuff, and all my Google apps when you look up the version numbers you wont find them in Play store, usually stack overflow, GitHub,and the like. I can have a phone that hasn't been turned on in years and when it has any charge in the battery my phone will give it a update somehow, but in both phones system events it acts like it was communication with headphones.
