don't forget the Horn of Helm Hammerhand - not only was it the scourge of the Dunlendings during the siege of the Hornburg (it sounded as Helm "Walk 'Em Down" Hammerhand went out to terrorize the Dunlending siege camp), it was also blown at the turn of the tide at the Battle of Helms Deep. Twice sounded over what would have been the doom of Eorlingas, twice turned into a terrifying weapon against the enemy.

The horns blow was so powerful also that anyone in melee would be disoriented the whole time. Hence why the Uriks needed to rittle Boromir with arrows to finally slay him.
