@gloriaelendu_: Sometimes the reaction is bigger than the moment because the moment touched something deeper. Healing is learning to recognize the wound without letting it tell you what everything means. “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3 (NIV) You are allowed to heal. And you don’t have to pretend the wound was never there. 🤍 #TraumaHealing #SelfAwareness #EmotionalHealing #MentalHealth #WalkingWithGod

hmmm that's why when you said, irrelevant of the impact, that's why when someone doesn't know that the person they are interacting with has a wound, as a trauma, you'd just say something that on an ordinary day to another person without that wound, would just at the most be irritated or annoyed buh when it's to the person with that trauma, the reaction is so out of this world then you are left shocked and surprise

Hmmm this came at the right time… I have no patience again, I easily get triggered because of my trauma and not going to lie , it’s affecting innocent people . I’ve been looking for a way to get over this.

Thank you so much. I was really bullied when I was a teenager and now I'm at my Siwes and I often feel like my colleagues are trying to do the same to me and recently I've been finding myself getting angrier and more easily pissed. This video really explains how I've been feeling. ❤️Thank you so much. God bless you.

And then you’ll realize a lot of people ain’t minding themselves enough to heal. We ignore our wounds to focus on others or replace the wounds with a different wants while healing is what most people need.

What happens when the trigger isn’t just a reminder of past trauma, but the same trauma or person, knowing fully well how what do hutrts but continues to recreate the trauma repeatedly and keeps doing the exact same thing(s)? If you’re living in an environment you cannot leave, and the same hurtful behavior keeps happening, can you realistically heal there? Is there still a meaningful “gap” between being triggered and reacting when the nervous system is repeatedly being put back into the same situation? At what point is the answer not simply learning to regulate your response, but recognizing that healing may require safety, distance, or the removal of the ongoing trigger? What do you do?
