This deity is linked to the city of Miyazaki and, more broadly, to Shinto culture. Although thought to be Tsukuyomi, the story never explores whether this is her true name or merely a nickname. Before choosing to incarnate into a human body, she took the form of a crow; it was in this guise that she first met Gorou and Sarina, growing fond of them and watching over them until their deaths.Subsequently, the other deities whether her equals or superiors remains unclear entrusted her with overseeing the twins' destiny. This was done to ensure Ruby was compensated for her past life and helped to the top, whilst Aqua sacrifices himself to provide the final push alongside everyone else.Despite her power, Tsukuyomi does not seem to rank particularly high in the divine hierarchy, given that she had to get her hands dirty personally. Furthermore, however much she pitied Aqua's fate, she could not save him, offering only comfort in his final moments before his soul vanished for good. Nor is she willing to let Akane bring him back. As seen in the light novel dedicated to Akane and Kana, she tells Akane plainly that Aqua is gone, warning that persisting down that path will only lead her to hell.
