I was diagnosed with an illness 15 years ago. It’s like a grief over the life you expected. I feel things will be easier to manage in time etc. it’s ok to be envious, it’s normal human emotion.

just try and remember how far you have come.. I too got told I wouldn't walk after a car accident and it took a while but I got there. and so you will too.glad you had a holiday away with your family xx

OMG Catherine I get this! I used to envy my partner taking the kids out in the snow, into the woods out on bikes. I can’t get on a Beach either and I have photos of my mum with my daughter but none of me. You are going to get there. You have made such progress and as she gets more mobile the barriers will reduce. ❤️
