I somewhat agree. The only part I struggle with is school. My daughter masks incredibly well, so professionals don’t always see the same child that I see at home, where we see the struggles with toileting, sleep, anxiety and social skills. You mention parents pushing for a diagnosis when they’ve been told it isn’t there, but masking can make those needs incredibly difficult to see. Labelling isn’t always about a diagnosis or financial benefit — sometimes it’s simply about children getting access to the support they need to thrive. ❤️

100% agree and I have autistic child, some people are forcing it on the kids for some extra money for themselfs, taking resources of Children who actually need it🤯

My oldest has ADHD and autism. We didn’t know till he was older and he didn’t want a diagnosis. If I had done videos showing his melt downs and stuff he’d never forgive me now! He knows he’s different but he doesn’t want it to define him! X

I completely agree with you I have 2 children who have autism it’s not something I announce to anyone and I would much rather they wasn’t because it’s not easy x
