Ed Sheeran DROPS Macklemore Off Tour Over Palestine Controversy — During his performance at MetLife Stadium, Macklemore chanted
Ed Sheeran DROPS Macklemore Off Tour Over Palestine Controversy — During his performance at MetLife Stadium, Macklemore chanted "Free Palestine" and performed his protest song "Hind’s Hall." Shortly after, stadium owners and Robert Kraft (The Kraft Group) reportedly pressured Ed Sheeran and venue promoters with an ultimatum, threatening bans across multiple venues if Macklemore remained on the lineup. In a newly released statement via Pop Base, Macklemore revealed that Ed Sheeran told him he "doesn't take sides" and that the words and Palestinian flags were "hurtful" to people he spoke with. Macklemore stood on business, stating: "If those words cost me the stage, while turning the conversation back to Palestine, then it was the most successful tour I’ve ever been on." Did Ed Sheeran make the right business move, or was Macklemore right for standing his ground? Let us know in the comments 👇 #edsheeran #macklemore #drama #mizkif
