android has switched from sms messaging to rcs which contains read receipts and typing indicators so the texting differences are mostly entirely cosmetic at this point

As someone who’s been with iPhone since the 4, and switched to a Galaxy Ultra last year and then switched back to Apple…. Android is cool, super customizable but honestly apps just run better on iPhone 😅 and yes not having access to iMessage and FaceTime was really inconvenient

I disagree. The other phones were in response to iPhone releasing their aspect ratio. The Z Fold 8 just came out. Apple didn't just rush into the drawing room and make it in response the Z Fold 8. They have been working on it for years.

Apple’s passport design leaked right before their competitors decided to use that form factor. Apple wasn’t trying to appeal to that market because it didn’t exist. The competitors saw it and decided to copy it and got to market first because Apple takes longer to develop products.
