@worshipsoundguy: Headsets don't have to be as hard as we're making them. The number one issue that I typically see is too much gain, which leads to a whole host of other issues down the road. I always take a "less is more" approach when it comes to processing headsets. If you have the gain set properly and the headset placed well, you can get away with a lot less processing than you might expect. Of course, there are some rooms that are just going to be really tricky for headsets. Maybe it's really reverberant or the communicator is really close to the PA, but even with those challenges, with some careful management, you can get a headset sounding great.
